Eleanor – Adventure (1988)

Eleanor Academia began her professional music career as a musical director under Quincy Jones. That was just the start of her association with the greats in the music business. Over the years she has worked with people like Stevie Wonder, Carmine Appice, Jake E. Lee, Thelma Houston, and Diana Ross. Her first world tour was as keyboardist and vocalist for Ray Parker Jr. She played percussion for Cyndi Lauper.

Eleanor released the album “Adventure” in 1987 on Columbia Records and the title track was released on 12″ single and on CD single in Japan, the Shep Pettibone Extended Mix appeared on both formats but the Dub Mix was exclusive to the 12″.

The track was extremely popular due to the excellent Shep remixes and was re-released in Germany in 2006.
