2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 110,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. Look what you’ve started….110,000- you should take a bow.

Thanks again for all the great posts. So many forgotten gems, but better than that is hearing a lot of this music for the first time.

BTW-do you think Arthur Baker and Shep Pettibone got any sleep in the 80s!

    • Hi Paul, Not too bad for a first year but I am surprised about how much time the blog takes to keep updated especially when I had to move from Megaupload to Mediafire to Rapidshare in fairly quick succession. I do love reading the comments from people who like me, are discovering some of this music for the first time. Thanks for commenting and the kind words. EV

PS: Not a lot sleep for the producers or the clubgoers in the 80’s 🙂
