Will King ‎– I’m Sorry (1985)

Los Angeles vocalist Will King toured Europe with the Red Eye Express, he then recorded briefly for Total Experience Records releasing the album “Backed Up Against The Wall” and two singles in 1985.  The first of these singles, “I’m Sorry” made it into the R&B Top 30.

“I’m Sorry” was written by Maurice Hayes (Lead vocalist and bassist for Prime Time) and Jimmy Hamilton (Vocalist and keyboard player for Prime Time), the duo had previously tracks recorded by Yarbrough & Peoples, Pennye Ford and The Gap Band who were all signed to the Total Experience Records label.

Remixes on the US 12″ were by Lonnie Simmons and Lamont Johnson.
