C-Bank ‎– Good To The Last Drop (1985)

C-Bank, an electro studio project by production and remix legend John Robie (Afrika Bambaataa, New Order, Cabaret Voltaire), was led by vocalist Jenny Burton. Robie and Burton took the group into the R&B charts in 1983 with the synth-heavy barnstormer “One More Shot.” Later that year, however, Burton went out on her own with the Top 20 single “Remember What You Like” on Atlantic.

C-Bank continued with a roster of vocalists, including notably Eleanor Mills who had released the soul album “I Am Eleanor Mills” in 1974. Eleanor recorded three singles with C-Bank, “Get Wet” (1983), “Good To The Last Drop” (1985) and “Nightmare Of A Broken Heart” (1986).

“Good To The Last Drop” was written by David Cole, mixed by Bruce Forest and the 12″ mixes receiving additional production from Bruce Forest & Julian Herzfeld.
