Steve Shelto – Don’t You Give Your Love Away (1983)

Steve Shelto had a long career in the music business and despite his record releases existing of an album with disco band “Area Code (212)” in 1979 and his SAM Records 12″ single “Don’t Give Your Love Away” in 1983,  Steve would go on to perform for some of the most prestigious audiences in the world including US Presidents and British Royalty.

In a career that spanned New York City area clubs, session work, radio and television commercials and voice-overs, off-Broadway acting and movie and television appearances, some of the highlights of his music career would be being invited to perform at such events as Ronald Reagan’s second inauguration, Queen Elizabeth’s 60th birthday party, the wedding of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Prince Edward’s 21st birthday party and the Queen Mother’s 100th birthday celebrations.

Unfortunately, the man known as “Mr.Class” passed away in September last year but we will always have this dancefloor classic mixed by Shep Pettibone to remember him by.
